Brightway, one of the largest cable networks in Telangana has come out with special plans keeping the welfare and future of the Local Cable Operators (LCOs). The Managing Director of the Company, Mr. Subhash Reddy has shared his future plans for the welfare of the LCOs under his Brightway Digital headend.  He called upon the LCOs to maximize their revenues.

While there are many changes in Technology, he asked the LCOs to use these changes to their advantage. The changes brought in by digitization on one hand and the aftermath of the COVID crisis on the other have enhanced the need for broadband, he explained. The LCOs, instead of developing a negative attitude towards these changes, he advised them to make use of the situation to their advantage. Mr. Reddy reminded that he has already entered into an agreement with the Govt. owned BSNL for distribution of broadband services.

“If LCOs come forward to distribute broadband through FTTH, it will be a facility for the internet savvy youth in rural areas. Since work from Home and OTT platforms are gaining ground, it is the need of the hour to provide internet to each and every household”, he explained. He called upon the LCOs to make use of this opportunity and earn extra money. He also mentioned that e-commerce has now spread its tentacles to rural areas and the LCO should raise to the occasion and catch hold of this opportunity. This gives extra income and the familiarity with the local people helps the LCIO a lot. Mr. SubhashReddy asked the LCOs to gear up for their future technology and business opportunities to maximize their revenues.
