At a time when cable TV is moving towards digitization, we started a monthly magazine called Cable Samacharam seven years ago with the sole intention of making available valuable information. To reach each and every person in the industry we chose to offer the content both in Telugu and English. The content includes the latest information relevant to cable operators, MSOs, broadband operators and even broadcasters.
At the same time, with the advent of digitization regulation in the industry, we have also published a book entitled ‘Cable TV Digitization’ to help bring awareness among the cable fraternity. You have also extended your cooperation in popularizing the book.
While the situation is dynamic and the rules are changing on a day to day basis, it was felt that keeping the industry waiting for a month to know the latest developments is not good. Thus, Cable Samacharam has been converted into a portal with the same name. It is also provided the opportunity to give in Telugu and English. We have been raising the awareness of all those in the cable sector by giving analytical articles apart from the news. We could successfully create an impression in the hearts of all of you with the one and only website for the cable sector.
Launching a website is different and maintaining it regularly is different. It requires lot of commitment and resources. Despite the closure of portals like Television Post and Cable Quest at the national level, Cable Samacharam continues to grow exponentially.
