Though the ranking order of the Telugu General Entertainment channels did not change, there is a slight fall in the numbers of Star Maa and Zee Telugu while ETV Telugu and Gemini TV recorded improvement. While Star Maa continued its No.1 position during the 46th week ending 20th November, Zee Telugu with 2/3rds of Star Maa is placed in No.2. ETV Telugu, a bit closer to Zee Telugu is ranked 3rd while Gemeini TV is a distant No.4. The combined viewership of ETV Telugu and Gemini TV continued to be lower than that of Star Maa.
As for the programs are concerned, Star Maa proved its strong position by bagging all the top 5 positions with its serials. With about 1.42 crore weekly impressions, Karteeka Deepam continued its No.1 position while Intinti Gruhalakshami (1.18 cr impressions), Vadinamma (98 lakh impressions), Devatha ( 87 lakh impressions) and Chelleli Kapuram ( 68 lakh impressions) stood in their respective ranks without any change. However, all these fiction shows have lost some viewership this week compared to last week.
Neither BiggBoss nor Jabardast could find place in the top 5 chart. BARC has stopped releasing the ratings of news channels for the past five weeks.
