KSCOA rededicates itself to the service of LCOs

Karnataka State Cable TV Operators Association (KSCOA) has decided to give an ex-gratia to the families of the diceased LCOs and Technicians who lost their lives while on duty. President of the Association Mr. Patrick Raj announced this at a meeting convened on the eve of inaugurating the new office premises in Koramanagala area of Bengaluru today.
The Association has been diligently catering the business needs of the Local Operators across Karnataka over a period of 2 decades. It has been consistent effort of the Association to bring harmony and smooth functioning of the local cable Operators. Despite stiff competition from the corporate giants in DTH and OTT platforms, the Association has faced all the odds to stabilize the cable market.
Karnataka State Cable TV Operators Association also felt the need to educate its members on technical aspects since there are major technical challenges to the business to Cable Operators post digitization. , The Association, also has plans to mobilize operators for technical upgradation through various workshops,
“Now, with this inauguration of new premises, we can cater all needs and educate the operators in common place” assured Mr. Patrick raj. The Association played a vital role during COVID d times to entertain the households during lock down time. Cable Operators efforts in bringing seamless and uninterrupted supply of TV Signals, is very much appreciable. Mr. Patrick Raj is instrumental in serving the Cable community at large and has been an inspiration to cable fraternity.
Mr. Ramalinga Reddy, former Home Minister, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest and briefed media on the efforts and relentless work done by Mr. Patrick Raj and conveyed his best wishes to cable operators fraternity. Mr. C.C. Patil Minister for Information and Public Relations, who could not make it ti attend since the Assembly is in session, has sent a message offering best wishes and to stand by the LCOs in finding solution to their problems.
Cable operators across Karnataka has graced the occasion and showered their blessings for its welfare. They described this day as a very eventful and memorable one for them since they have their own premises in Kormangala, Bangalore.
