SUN TV Network has announced a donation of Rs.30 Cr to provide relief to those affected by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. This will be spent on several initiatives currently underway at various states of India, a statement issued by the organization said.
The amount will be spent in the form of donations to programs initiated by the Govt. of India nad various state governments apart from partnering with NGOs that are providing oxygen cylinders, medicines etc.,
In addition, the company will leverage its resources including all its media assets to spread greater awareness among millions of its audiences across the country and rest of the world, as per the statement.
