Sun TV bounced back to regain its first position in the list of All India top 10 channels. Star Maa also could get back its 4th position while Zee Telugu continued to retain its 9th position. However, it is interesting to note that among all the Zee group channels, only Zee Telugu could find place in the All India top10 channels. Incidentally, Zee Telugu is celebrating is completion of 16 years.
As for the Telugu GECs are concerned, Star Maa continues to be ahead of other Telugu channels. Star Maa (2165.55), Zee Telugu ( 1564.47), ETV Telugu (1248.83) and Gemini TV ( 741.97). Star Maa’s viewership is 40% more than that of Zee Telugu while the combined viewership of ETV Telugu and Gemini TV is less than that of Star Maa. Similarly Star Maa viewership is more by 75% of ETV Telugu.
On the programs front, Star Maa continues to bag all the top5 positions. With its flagship daily soap Karthika Deepam (14043) continues to top the list, Intiniti Gruhalakshmi (9543), Guppedantha Manasu ( 8393), Janaki Kalaganaledu (6886) and Devatha ( 6803) are in the next four places.
