Star Maa channel continues to lead the Telugu General Entertainment Channels during the 42nd week of this calendar year (between 17th and 23rd October). Interestingly the sum of the weekly impressions of ETV Telugu and Gemini TV put together is also less than the Star Maa’s weekly impressions. Star Maa garnered 786282 thousand weekly impressions followed by Zee Telugu (492921 thousand), ETV Telugu (461580 thousand) and Gemini TV (311517 thousand).
Among the programs, Star Maa continues to lay its hands on the top 5 slots with its unopposed serials. Karteeka Deepam (15229 thousand impressions) is the number 1 program watched by the Telugu viewers while Intinti Gruhalakshmi (11592 thousand), Vadinamma (10821 thosand), Devatha (7646 thousand) and Chelleli Kapuram (7037 thousand) occupied the next four ranks. An important point to be note here is that BiggBoss failed to enter into the top 5 program list.
