Star Maa has once again bagged the number one position at the national level, overtaking Sun TV. While 5 of the Star channels found place in the list of top 10 channels, Sony, Colors and Zee could get one channel each.
Among the Telugu channels, the weekly AMA garnered by Star Maa (23.62 lakhs) are more than the sum of the next two channels Zee Telugu (13.23 lakhs) and ETV Telugu (10.26 lakhs). Gemini TV is a distant No. 4 with a mere 7.41 lakhs. However, the only consoling thing for the Gemini Group is that its Movies channel is number one among the Telugu movie channels with AMA of 5.46 lakh.
